Quad ESL-57

Pair of Quad ESL-57's, which were the original electrostatic loudspeaker, and still considered one of the great audiophile speakers. Mine are S/N's 52618 & 52623. They are in good condition cosmetically and have the metal mesh grilles (not cloth). The stands shown are included. They were rebuilt in Fall 2012 by the legendary Wayne Piquet (may he RIP) of Quads Unlimited. They are used in a smoke free environment and sound great--an audition is available by appointment to serious potential buyers. Low price is because they do have over 11 years on the rebuild. Local pickup only (SF Bay Area), since shipping must be by motor freight, requires special crating, and is thus very involved and expensive.
