We’re Stereo Exchange, located in New York City. We've been in business since the 1970s and are a major high-end dealer. We have all the current top brands on display in our huge showroom.

We just found this power center/noise filter (it does not contain surge protection…for better sound) by Transparent, in or warehouse, and it’s in VERY nice shape.

It filters noise from your system, without limiting power (1800 Watts capacity) so it can be used with systems that contain larger amplifiers. It works particularly well, from what I gather, with tube-based systems, from a sonic standpoint.

This is an earlier version of the PowerLink ULTRA, with SIX “regular” outlets and two RED outlets, designed, I believe, for digital or video items that tend to introduce noise back into systems.

On the front is a LARGE switch for power control. The SMALL switch, as I understand, controls the amount of noise filtering.

The piece has been tested, works, and is in great shape.

It’s about 15 years old, according to the folks at Transparent, but has been in the warehouse most of its life.

It originally sold for about $900…that was a bit of a bargain, considering it has a great “captive” Transparent power cord attached with additional filtering…that would sell for hundreds of dollars itself today.
