This is an excellent headphone amplifier and you're welcome to read the rave reviews on different Internet websites. I have been using it with my Ayre QB-9 DSD DAC connected to my iMac and the results have been excellent with Audeze LCD-3 headphones. Please note that the voltage on this equipment is 230 volts. There are no scratches on the amplifier, but as I've used it for a year the silver finish shows mild signs of aging which can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth.
