This DAC is great. If you've never heard a DA converter that went straight from the chip to a tubed output stage, you have no idea what digital is capable of. John really knows how to make magic. I thought I'd never sell this, but I ended up getting John's Expo T105D (which retails for double this DAC) I've never heard anything best it besides John's current offering. At $1500, I doubt there's anything that'll match it's price:performance ratio.
