Thanks for the update.

I also have good news. When we put the AES on a very high end server the imaging was almost hologram like, better than 3D. When we tried someone else AES cable the image was 3D but not close to hologram. The difference was very clear. With your cable you could walk in between the speakers and right into the artist, like shaking hands in person but with the other cable the artist was out of phase. The other cable cost more.

I have listened these cables 3 days, I have to say ,you are genius and the cables are exquisite even they are off the box. Anyway, my sound just got cleaner as in clearer, the bass and midrange got much better, and soundstage seems like wider and deeper. I really want to thank you! I got the cable today-Thanks! I had my speakers delivered & listened to original stock phono cable (sme 20/12) which I thought should be decent. When I put the studio reference in I was really shocked!! How could there be such a difference. It sounds so good-rich harmonics-much much more detail. It’s truly like the difference between a transistor pocket radio & a high end stereo. This is a very expensive turntable & the stock cable is really terrible compared to your cable. It really was the perfect phono cable for my system. I’m beginning to think one should start a system with the cables first. Anyway, thanks for helping me out with the price & I am very excited about my vinyl system thanks to the new Wilson Alexia speakers & my new studio reference phono cables without which I wouldn’t be hearing the awesome sounds-truly unbelievable!! Hello Mel, The bi-wired Magnum Opus speaker cables and jumpers arrived yesterday. I put the speaker cables into my system this morning and right out of the box they sound phenomenal! Mel, Here is my non-clinical review of your new Studio Reference USB cable and my two setups so far: 1.)First setup was of course with the ipod 5th generation touch, Crystal Clear Audio Studio reference USB cable/ Herus Dac amp and JH-16 IEMs. Sonic and musicality was unbeatable with any other cable as I was fortunate to sit around at Addicted to Audio and switch from cable to cable. There was an ease and performance that the other cables could not touch. The music genres went from rock to jazz to classical. I noticed the background noise was dead silent and there was no harshness as with the Wire World Platinum. The small setup sounded better than any full size DAC/Amp I have heard to date and the richness from this cable and setup I feel could not have sounded any better. I thought….enter the modded pair of Grado Allesandro Pro headphones with the Crystal Clear Audio Studio reference USB cable and the Herus DAC/ Amp. 2.) Second setup was ipod 5th generation touch, Crystal Clear Audio Studio reference USB cable/ Herus DAC/Amp and the Grados (modded a bit). TWO WORDS>>>>COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE! I thought I had the setup that would be the killer with the JH-16s and your cable(the Great balls of fire!) , I could walk in silence and smile knowing no one would ever have a mobile setup with a cable this great. This was now second best as the Crystal Clear Audio Studio reference USB cable created musical heaven on earth. I hate to keep trying this cable on further setups because I will end up wanting to spend a shit load of money on gear. If anyone says USB cables don’t make a difference they are full of it and you can take that to the bank or have them call me. It’s time for the nay sayers to shut up, have a coke and a smile, and sit back and take a listen. Thanks for everything brother and the greatest customer service on earth to date! Mel- I wanted to get a bit of time on the cables prior to emailing. I must tell you I am thoroughly impressed! Many times we continue to upgrade our electronics in an effort to improve sound no looking at the cables as an essential link in the chain. Not that I am so naive to think cables wouldn’t improve the system I would never think to spend the uber amounts of money some esoteric cables demand. Your cables have allowed me to improve/experience my system at a whole new level. What I find very appealing is the presentation where I now have a soundfeild independent of the speakers as if the speakers are not there, amazing. In addition, the level of resolution coupled with exemplary midrange and deep tight non boomy bass is extraordinary, my hat is off to you. Thank you for all you have done to improve my system. Mel wanted you to know I finally got my Marten speakers today and finally got a chance to hear the system don’t know how to describe the sound the detail is to die for and I’m sure your Magnum Opus speakercables have a lot do with it.  Hi Mel, I received power cord yesterday. It sounds amazing right out of the box! The sound is bolder and more detailed, even before break in period. I did not know a power cable could make so much improvement. It blows away the Shunyata Taipan (alpha helix) that I use for my linestage. So I replaced it with yours and moved the Shuntata to the phono pre where I was going to put yours. I can’t wait to try your speaker cables! Best Regards, Dave Dooley

Hi Mel, Just a short note to say that I received the cables today. Thanks! I smiled when I saw the box on my front porch. What’s so eerie is that a thought came to me this morning that I hadn’t heard from you in a while, and I had planned to email you this evening to ask how you were progressing with my cables. The cables have been installed in my system. I love the banana plugs and the quality of the construction of the cables! I’ve already notice some improvement, and that’s only after 2 hrs. The sound already sounds slightly smoother. Approximately how long do the cables take to break in? Some of the reviews I’ve read mention the Reference cables. Hi Mel Received cables today and they are installed and I am listening right now to �Swing that Baby� WOW! They are straight out of the bx and sound great I can only image after broken in! Build quality is excellent flexible enough to move were I need them and very nice CLEAN! Sound!!! I am very pleased- you da man you were right. They remind me of the Kubala-Sosna �s I had but more detailed with bit tighter sounding bass for me.. I am listening to a Wadia 581 iSE cd player, Audio Valve (from Germany) tube amp and using a pr of Aerial 7 B�s which will be soon replaced by the Montana EPS2�s EXCELLENT! Hello Mel, I received your Signature series bi-wired Speaker cables--What happened to my system after I installed them on my Aerial 7B’s--and my Krell 400 XI Integrated. "WoW" " and "Wow" again-- Your Speaker cables made the Krell forward sound be more natural and not brite. Mel I must tell you how impressed I am with your new cable and I know over time it will get even more better (after break in period). Mel, It has been about 6 months since I first installed your speaker cables into my system. Since then, I have essentially �forgot� about them (which is a good thing in itself). The other day, I was doing some work on the system and decided, for the hell of it, to swap in my old Goertz MI-2 bi-wires which I had lived happily with for several years before your cables came along. To say I was under whelmed by the performance of the Goertz cables would be giving the Alpha-Core�s too much credit. It always amazes me how everything makes a difference in audio. Your silver speaker cables are the only silver wires I have run across in my 20+ years of audio that I can continue to live with, and bring me great musical enjoyment on a consistent, daily basis. While most other silver cables have the typical colorations we have all come to associate with silver cabling (thin, treble-heavy, bright, etc), your cables somehow manage to accentuate the positive strengths of silver cables, yet also remain tonally coherent, musically involving (in the way that, in my experience, only copper cables have been capable of) and simply wonderful to listen to, and at a price that doesn�t kill the average human being (I use Argent Pursang S interconnects, the other silver cable that I have tried that I enjoy, but the price is ridiculous, and the speaker cables are unaffordable (or insane depending on your point of view�there�s nothing wrong with expensive products, but c�mon, it�s wire --- thank you for realizing that simple fact in regard to your products which set a new standard in my opinion for quality and affordability)). I don�t think about my speaker cables any more. Is there any higher complement??? Thanks again. Best regards, -Richard
