Frey 2 Phono cable, RCA - RCA. Brand new, never used, purchased from an authorized Nordost dealer. I own one of these fine cables already, and was going to buy a very low output MC cartridge, so I needed a SUT and a 2nd set of cables. I then decided to go in a different direction. So the box has been opened by the dealer to apply VIDAR treatment, but the cable was never installed in my system or even lifted out of the box. Was VIDAR treated continuously for 7 days, so is ready to go in your system!
VIDAR is Nordost's burn-in treatment- "By using extremely wide bandwidth signal as well as a range of both
ultra-low and high frequency sweeps, the Vidar stresses the conductors,
neutralizes charges, improves the way that signals pass through metal
and ultrasonically conditions the surface of the conductors. It is
these changes in both the conductor and insulation material that refines
performance in audio cables."
