EAR 890 Matched Pair of Stereo Power Amplifiers

This listing is for two EAR 890 stereo amps that were purchased as a pair to be used specifically as monoblocks. The serial numbers 013511 and 023511 reflect this. All 16 of the original power tubes were replaced with four matched quads of cryo-treated KT-90s. I would conservatively estimate the number of hours on these at 200-250. The expected life span of these tubes is 2000+ hours. Current price to replace all 16 tubes is $1500+. The pair comes with the jumpers necessary to run them in monoblock mode. All but the balanced inputs are covered by Cardas caps. The maple with rosewood trim amp stands were custom built for these amps. The stands are supported by IsoAcoustic GAIA IIs. I have the original manuals and the double-box packing. The chrome plating is in perfect condition with no checking or corrosion even around the screw heads.

Shipping will only be by freight due to the size and weight of the boxes. They will be strapped and wrapped on a palette by my office's shipping staff who regularly ship product in this fashion. The expected amount would be $350-500. An actual cost can be supplied to the buyer prior to purchase.
