Linux based Vortexbox operating system makes ripping CDs or adding hi rez downloads very easy. The unit can be controlled wirelessly with a laptop or tablet connected to a home network, it works very well with an ipad using the mpad app. A carefully designed and implemented usb output delivers a low noise, low jitter digital signal to a DAC.
