Era speakers were designed by Michael Kelly of Ariel Acoustics. They
were a reaction to the state of most lifestyle speakers. Rather than
offering a small black box that had no listenable qualities, the Era
D4 bookshelf speaker can present a solid soundstage with plenty of
bass, a very sweet midrange, and a silky smooth top end.
Aesthetically, this speaker is gorgeous. Housed in a sturdy cabinet
of thick MDF and finished with a real cherry wood veneer. These are
in excellent shape with no real signs of wear. While their original
owner misplaced the grills, we've ordered new ones and will include
them with the sale.
