ADA Audio Design Associates PTM-1260 Multi-Channel Bridgeable Amplifier

This is an ADA PTM-1260 multi-channel amplifier. It sounds fantastic, is very clean, and is in excellent cosmetic condition. I take extremely good care of all of my equipment and this is no exception. It looks and performs as if it was brand new. Included in this sale is the amp and power cord. I do not have the original box but it will be packed very securely for shipping. ADA never produced an owner's manual specifically for this amp. It is mentioned in the manual for their Suite 16 multi-room system (which I can provide a PDF copy of), but there is no separate manual for the amp.

The PTM-1260 is a revolutionary power amplifier that is so feature oriented, one can tend to forget the wonderful sound it produces. The PTM-1260 provides options for it to be switched from an open twelve channel configuration, enough sound for two home theater systems, six rooms or zones of independent audio, or a combination of a home theater and three zones of audio. High power output is part of the PTM-1260's magnificent lineage, as its design is based on ADA's highly acclaimed PTM-6150 and MPA-501 six and five channel power amplifiers. And like all other ADA products, the PTM-1260 is hand crafted with pride in the USA. The PTM-1260 provides 390 W/Ch* for six channels (bridged) or 140 W/Ch* for up to twelve channels. The power is derived from 24 output devices, a tremendous power toroid, and 200,000µF capacitance. The PTM-1260 also allows channel pairs to be turned on and off, based on rooms that are being used (if used with an ADA multi-room system).
