I am sadly selling my personal pair of SoundLAB Prostat 922 speakers. Life circumstances require that I find a new home for these. The resolution and dynamics of these speakers is unparalleled!

Background and Heritage: They've been extremely well cared for and have been used sparingly; mostly as demos for renowned high-end audio trade shows such as CES and The Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. These speakers have also been customized by Ray Kimber. Most recently, I've been using them in my living room.

Modifications: The speakers are internally wired with Kimber Kable's best silver cable, include WBT's best silver binding posts, and have custom-engineered bases that are a substantial improvement over the factory standard.

*These speakers are truly unparalleled among SoundLAB speakers. These are not Majestics. They were designed and built much differently. Brett at SoundLAB put it in terms that are worth mentioning. He stated that the Prostat is no more a Majestic than a Millenium-1 is a U-1! Besides the frame thickness, there is a significant difference in build quality that can't be seen unless you dissect one. It is difficult to explain just how substantial the difference is. However, I believe the weight of these speakers can give a good representation of this. The shipping weight for these speakers is 940 lbs! There is also a marked difference in efficiency between these and a Majestic. A Majestic is rated at 88-89db efficiency. These are measured at 91db.
