Bryston 2B-LP 19"

I purchased this unit 2 years ago on Audiogon and it has been used infrequently but to good effect. The unit is in very good shape. It is conservatively rated a "7" due to the scratches on the bottom which are not visible.  I've copied the original description below.

You are looking at a Bryston 2B-LP power amplifier in very good cosmetic
condition and one with excellent sound quality. This is the most recent version
of the 2B-LP before Bryston went away from the low profile (1RU) chassis and
came out with the SST version.

New this amp went for over $2000. The asking price is way less than half that
amount. This version of the 2B-LP typically sells for a lot more than BlueBook.
In fact the PRO version is often selling for close to $1000! The only
difference between this amp and the PRO version is that this one does not have
balanced inputs.

The 2B-LP is very conservatively rated at 60 watts per channel into 8 Ohms

100 watts per channel into 4 Ohms

200 watts into 8 Ohms in the bridged mode.

It features separate stereo channels, including dual power supplies, to prevent
any interaction between left and right signals, for precise sound staging and
image quality. Both channels are clean and clear with the detailed, holographic,
fatigue-free sound Bryston is known for.

Also, Bryston uses only high quality components including 1% metal-film
resistors, polystyrene capacitors and hand-matched transistors to reduce noise
and distortion to the absolute minimum. All signal circuitry is fully discrete
to avoid the compromises, phase shift and nonlinearities inherent in IC's.

If you have never owned a Bryston amplifier you owe it to yourself to find out
first-hand about the great build quality and the even better sound quality. If
you are used to driving your speakers with a receiver this amp could well have
you happily listening to your music collection all over again.

For home theater aficionados with a 5.1 setup this amp is ideal for upgrading
to 7.1 especially if you are already using a 5 channel amp (like the Bryston
9B-ST). The remote turn-on feature is a must for home automation systems to be
able to control power-on/off.
