Just purchased a pair of Tube Monos so I must let her go, Hands down, an amazing amp but I just like tubes. The Job 225 is truly a world class giant killer amp. This is an original Job with no Hum issue, and NO dual voltage as with the newer redone models, some say they do not sound as good as the originals like this one that made the big rave reviews. Read Srajan’s review at 6moons for more info. Replaced the stock fuse with a Synergistic Research quantum 5 X 20mm slow-blow, 4A fuse, (a $60 value). The bananas on my Audioquest Comet speaker cables would not fit on the stock binding posts so I had Micheal Spallone replace them with Cardas binding posts, (an $85 value). Micheal Spallone has done extensive mods to the Synergistic Research MPCs to bring them to Galileo status, (check out the thread related to that mod: modding Synergistic Research MPC to Galileo status).

So, $1,700 amplifier + $60 fuse + $85 Cardas binding posts = $1,845
