Wonderful high performance integrated amp with DAC. Non solid state sound, very smooth with great bass control. Class A smoothness and listenability in a design that does not produce any discernible heat. Hegel describes this integrated as a "music machine" due to it's sound quality and functionality,has remote control. Beautiful cosmetics!
Can drive difficult loads like Maggie 1.7's. Used on a pair of $12,000 Magico speakers at a recent audiophile show and reviewers had the opinion that it was the best the Magico's ever sounded. MINT condition. Only 5 months old.
