Luxman C-600f Preamp

I am reluctantly putting up for sale the superb Luxman C-600f preamplifier. This is a current product in the Luxman line up. It sells for $9000 brand new. A modern day Luxman preamplifier hardly ever comes for resale on audiogon.

You will see in the picture that I also have the matching Luxman M-600A amplifier for sale.

You are well aware of the rave reviews Luxman has been garnering over the last 6-7 years (ever since they have come out with their Reference level modern products). This preamplifier uses the latest revolutionary LECUA technology for volume control. This maintains fidelity and transparency at any volume. It employs extensive use of technology developed for the flagship C-1000f preamplifier (which retails for ~ $32,000!).

This is genuine 110 volt USA model (you can see the sticker showing 110 volts in one of the photos). It comes from a smoke free home without any pets. It is in near MINT condition--I have rated it as 8 just in case I missed any minor blemish.

The jewel like build quality has to be seen to be believed--absolutely top notch--it is built like a tank. The fit & finish is world class--at par with cost no object components! Luxman is a company that is fanatical about the quality of the parts and the technologies they put in their products.

Of course the sound is Reference level--stunning transparency mated with excellent musicality. Too often you have products that give you one of these qualities at the expense of the other. With this preamp you do not have to choose between transparency & musicality--you get both in equal measure.

It will come securely packed in its original factory TRIPLE BOX (another example of Luxman's fanatical attention to detail) which should make it pretty much immune to shipping damage. You get the Preamplifier, original full featured Remote control and the instruction manual.
