Marantz SC-7S2 SC7S2 Line level preamplifier (Reference Series)

I am moving and my
new house doesn’t have space for this system which is located in my bedroom, so
I am selling the whole system. All of the pieces have very light use, less than
once/month and I can’t find a mark on them. They are all part of the Marantz
Reference series in the beautiful champagne finish and they sound terrific. As several
reviewers have noted, when Marantz periodically introduces a new Reference
Series, the results are outstanding, with quality parts and case work that
smaller companies would really struggle to produce.

This listing is for
the preamp – a Marantz SC-7S2. I purchased this from a reseller who said it was
used by Marantz for a large trade show in the US. It looks like it has never
been used, but since it was at a trade-show, the box is marked refurbished.

There are reviews
on line and if you do a search on the unit, the Marantz Reference Series web
site still has the specifications, photos, and other relevant data. You’ll be
able to find whatever info you need so I won’t replicate it here. I will say
that I think this line-level preamp (no phono input) would fair extraordinarily
well against any on the market.

I will ship US
(CONUS) only and will use FedEx, insured and provide tracking info.  The unit is in the original double boxes and
is quite heavy (65 lbs). I prefer PayPal and please add the 3% fee.
