McIntosh MC 2205 Stereo Power Amplifier

vintage amplifier in Very Good Condition with only one owner. This unit has been professionally tested recently by a qualified tech. Everything is calibrated and all functions fully operational. The only issues noted are that some of the lettering in the name have become less visible over the years {see pictures} one of the green lights on the output indicator is out. both these issues have no effect on the performance of this phenomenal amplifier. It has also has been check over the years by mcIntosh specialists. The foil tags are still on the unit verifying this. Comes with owner's manual and service manual. Description

The MC 2205 is a 200 watt per channel dynamo. Effortlessly drives the most difficult loads safely through the innovative use of massive autoformers. This model marked the introduction of Power Guard, which compares input/output and eliminates distortion/clipping to protect your speakers. It is a wonderful unit that combines excellent sonics with unsurpassed build quality. And those big, blue meters!

ELECTRICAL: 200w/ch. (400w mono). Response 20-20kHz (+0 -0.25dB). Distortion 0.1%. Noise and hum -95dB. Output impedance 1, 2, 4 and 8 ohms. (0.5, 1, 2, and 4 ohms in mono).
