I purchased these from Silnote in 2011 (see invoice). They were sold deeply discounted in anticipation of a new model cable being released by Silnote. I am passing the savings on to you. After I received them, I found them too short for my system (Avantgarde Trios + tubes), and I put them away anticipating their future use in another system. That other system for them never materialized.
They have been used one time: I plugged them into my beta system yesterday to see if they work. And of course they do. It is a bright and detailed speaker cable that sounds like its high silver content. I think they'd be best in an tube system or a tame SS.
So although I have rated them a 9/10, they are really a 10/10. The price is fair and firm for what will be new reference grade speaker cables at the price you'd pay for discount cables.
