Cary SLI-80 “Signature” Integrated Tube Amp with spare tubes and meter to check tube bias.
This unit is just one year old, manufactured in early 2014.
As many are aware, integrated amps are becoming very popular. This model from Cary competes with separates costing several times its original retail price.
This is fantastic amp to tube roll.
For power tubes it will accept KT88, or 6550, EL34, 6CA7, 6L6, KT66, KT77, 6V6 or KT90 tubes. You can switch between triode and ultra-linear mode “on the fly”. You can also switch between 4 ohm of 8 ohm speaker taps “on the fly”. Unit also has subwoofer out
Comes with volt/ohm meter (to verify power tube bias), power cord, original boxes, remote, spare set of control knobs and owner’s manual.
This unit is ideal for tube rolling. I’ve had great success with both NOS and modern, readily available tube options. (Most bang for the buck is rolling the 6922 pair)

I’ve sold my separates and I’m not disappointed with this integrated. Has many of the desirable attributes people love in tube amps.

| Why is unit rated only 8/10 if unit is only one year old? Are there visible scratches? I always rate the items I sell very conservatively, and consequently, I've never had any complaints. no, there are no scratches. this unit is very clean and looks well cared for. thanks for the interest. |
