If your needs change or you want to bypass the linestage altogether, it can be switched into a stand alone 100 WPC tube amp. You can also switch on the fly between ultralinear to triode. My unit has been upgraded to KT120 output tubes, a spare set of used KT90s will be included in the sale. also included is the heavy machined aluminium remote with volume and mute capability.Those that have heard the Cronus Magnum and Tempest III will agree the Tempest is superior using octal tubes like their big amps (Cronus doesn't). the overall cosmetic condition is very good with no obvious blemishes. i'm the 2nd owner and purchased it from the dealer that originally sold it new.
