Wavelength Audio PSE 300B dual mono amplifiers parallel single ended pair

Pair of WAVELENGTH AUDIO 300B parallel single ended power amps. Outputting approximately 17 watts, they are higher output versions of the "Cardinal" (not related to the little 2A3 7-watt models also once labeled "Twin" or "Gemini"). Designed around, and factory biased for, matched pairs of Western Electric 300B output tubes or matched pairs of modern 1 to 1 equivalents. Given a matched pair of 300Bs they will shine with speakers in the 87-93 db sensitivity range. They certainly shone with my Quad US monitors and 989s.

All the premium NOS input, driver, and rectifier tubes are included, but the output tubes are not. Input tubes included with the amplifiers are the very finest of their type ever available: matched "platinum" Vintage Tubes Services "green dot" ultra-low noise select moving coil phono-grade General Electric military 6072A (1950s). Driver tubes included are the pure and sweet RCA red base military 5692s (1961). Rectifier tubes are Mullard-made GZ37s.

Note in the photos that the amplifiers are in excellent condition except for the underside of the bottom metal cover plates, which have numerous scratches from sharp brass triple point footers. The underside can be repainted or flipped over to the pristine side (see photos). One fuse holder's outer shell on back wiggles a bit in place, but functions properly. The large transformers are quiet except with ears physically up close to them.

Heavy duty/audiophile power cords recommended, not included.
