This unit would be rated 9/10 if the Audiogon rating system were based on functionality, not cosmetics. (After all, it's a tool -- you'll probably keep it in your garage or workroom.) The unit has a BRAND NEW carbide blade installed, good for trimming 2000 CDs (zero CDs were trimmed with this new blade.) The unit also has a brand new belt installed. Both were installed at UltraSystems, where the unit was inspected and serviced. So, the unit is in perfect working order, with new critical wear parts.

But, I rated it conservatively, to reflect the small scratches and marks that inevitably result when you have shreds of polycarbonate shooting around within a closed container.
