VPI Industries Classic w/ 12" 3DR Tonearm & Acrylic Cover

Selling a turntable package that is in very good cosmetic condition and flawless functioning order. This turntable started out as a VPI Classic 1 but features the following upgrades:

JMW 3DR Tonearm with Nordost Reference Silver Tonearm Wire ($3,200 list)
VPI 12" Unipivot VTA Base ($2300 list)
Bren1 Record Weight ($120)
Premium Acrylic Cover for Entire Turntable ($400)

There is minor wear on the table and it is overall in great condition for its age. I have uploaded a picture of a small scratch that can likely be buffed out, but it is not easily noticeable under normal lighting conditions or from a distance.

The platter has a minor blem where the top of the spindle is at a slight angle or is threaded off. This does not affect playback at all, but using a screw clamp will not set flat on the platter. This is resolved by using a quality drop on weight like the Bren1 included.

The tonearm started out as a 12" 3D tonearm, but I had it sent to Steve Leung of VAS (VPI partner and next door neighbor) to rewire the tonearm with Nordost silver wire. A carbon fiber wrap was applied after, to make the arm equivalent to the 3DR.
