Nola Baby Grand Reference Louspeaker

Here's a remarkable offering you won't see every day! We've just taken in a complete Nola Baby Grand Reference Loudspeaker system from a very good local customer of ours and are pleased to offer it here on Audiogon for your consideration.

This pair is complete with all components including separate outboard, three way cross overs for each channel, factory cables, isolation bases and coupling platform isolation bearings. The finish is Nola's high gloss rosewood mirror like finish with the speaker towers being in very good condition. The matching cross over boxes do have finish flaws however including one with a crack across the top. These flaws do not affect performance in any way and should be placed behind the speaker towers regardless. (See Photos)

Note that the beautiful high gloss clear coat finish is so deep and smooth that any and all reflections are deceivingly picked up in the attached photos. Let us know if there you have questions on specific photos.

The Baby Grand Reference is a two-tower system utilizing four 9-inch magnesium woofers, eight proprietary 4½-inch midrange drivers with Alnico magnets and eight custom 4-inch true ribbon tweeters with heavy neodymium magnets. The drivers are configured in a unique mirror-imaged, open baffle short line source array that maintains focus while providing life-sized images.

While the Nola Grand Baby Reference is now 10-12 years old, they retailed for a notable $55K at that time. Imagine what these same speakers would cost in 2022 dollars making this pair a great value!
