Ok, so I'm selling some interesting audio gear, and some pieces are easier to let go than others.  This piece falls in the hard to let go category.  In other words, if you don't want to pay the money I'm asking, that's ok, I would just as soon keep it.
Up for your consideration is my CarderSound Morgan Passive Subwoofer.  Finished in cherry, this passive tower subwoofer is 1 of only 2 manufactured by CarderSound.  There is also an oak one out there somewhere.  The drivers are Creative Sound Solutions with copper phase plugs and have been upgraded with the EnABLed Process applied.
The speakers were manufactured by CarderSound, but designed by David Dlugos of Frugal-Horn fame.  Too date, I have never heard a better sounding subwoofer.  Tall statement, and true, a subjective one nonetheless, but if you need a subwoofer with drivers fast enough to seamlessly integrate into a flea powered, single driver environment, I personally can recommend none better.  You'll need a class D power amp to run it, but the little Dayton sub amp can fill the bill.  You can spend more money on a more expensive amp, but not necessary to accomplish greatness in my opinion.
This is indeed a rare offering, and the piece is not replaceable, so only serious inquiries, please.
Buyer to pay for shipping and PayPal fees if that is the method of payment used.  Please plan on paying for double box insured shipping. Thank you for looking and feel free to check out my other audio listings.  Selling lots of neat stuff.

Questions for the seller
i am interested but it would seem some sort of crossover as well as amp is needed to implement this sub in a pure 2 channel system-correct?
Good morning. Yes. Exactly what a plate amp that is integrated with a "powered" sub woofer accomplishes. A separate sub amp is needed that would have multiple crossover points and low and high pass filtering to aid in dialing in to taste. Parts Express has a couple lower cost, but highly capable solutions in their Dayton Audio line.
I owned the other one in oak until about a year ago, along with the Tybones. All of your statements about the sub (and the system) ring true. I sold the system due to the size of the Tybones in my small sun room, but the system was transcendent, and the sub was an amazing part of the equation. If anyone looking at this has some Blumenstein or similarly sized main speakers, this sub is a killer!
Couldn't agree more. Thanks for the comment. Jeff
