The Emitter Exclusive amps are capability of complete lifelike, 3D sound staging with extremely low level noise floor because of their state of the Art separate power supplies including a very powerful separate battery power supply for the pre-amp section with the Exclusive model.

The noise floor is so low with this ASR system, consider the money you can save using this model ASR amp with the optional battery supply in not having to purchase another expensive interconnect (from Preamp-Amp) 2 very expensive power cords ( one for the preamp and one for the amp, possible another if you run dual mono amps) and not having to use a very expensive power conditioning system (Shunyata,Transparent et al ) to lower the noise floor. 
 If you add this additional cost up running a traditional Pre-amp/amp setup using a high quality noise reduction power supply component you would have to spend an extra $7000+ in Power cords, interconnect and Shunyata power conditioner to obtain the same level performance of this ASR System without this additional cost. Hearing is believing.

I have used numerous combinations of separate pre-amps and power amps along with SS v. tubes and overall this is the finest sounding and lifelike amp I have ever owned.

ASR gives you the best of both worlds using ultra high end SS amps along with a midrange that is to die for similar to the best SET amps available on the market. There is really nothing quite like it. Ultra high speed transients yet totally liquid and organic midrange and instrument voices. Plenty of power to drive most any difficult speaker.

This year amp has the more powerful instant power combinations from the power supply and battery supply systems. There is a big difference if you buy an older version of these amps as to instant power reserves and transparency. Look at the specs!
