For sale: 14’ pair of extremely rare MARK LEVINSON HF-10C Swiss Made Audiophile Speaker Cables. In very good functional and cosmetic condition. They have the Original Factory Terminations of Spades on the Amplifier Ends, and Banana Terminations on the Speaker Ends. Mark Levinson is an audio legend - one of the seminal Audio Industry icons of the last 40 years. From the outset he is known for building incredible “No Compromise / Cost No Object” audio pieces which were not just better performing than their competition, but also needed to be better looking. These cables however are certainly not glamorous – quite the opposite; plain in appearance but spectacular in their performance. These Mark Levinson HF10C cables are a very pure, high gauge copper cable configured as a Litz Multi-Strand. While the aggregate copper gauge is very thick at 10 gauge, each actual strand is incredibly micro-thin, as thin as human hair, and the cable is very supple and easy to bend. Like most copper cables, the resulting sound is slightly on the warm side, exceedingly smooth and lush. They match up exceptionally well with vocalists, have excellent clarity and dynamics, and also are able to tame the edges of brittle sounding speakers and amplifiers. They work flawlessly! Cables and terminations are in very good condition and work perfectly. The banana terminations look in very good condition with minimal wear, and the soft, pure copper spade terminations show some wear from being crimped on by amplifier terminations in normal use. I have buffed the spade ends to remove copper oxidation as best I could – they look very good. The sheaths are in great shape – some scuffing and a little soiling, but overall in remarkable shape after 30 years – no cuts, no kinks, they work without issue! Packaged for safe shipping but drop off is also available on the 401/403 corridor between London and Toronto GTA. Interac payment preferred. Paypal, shipping, insurance extra.
