VTL TL-2.5

This a VTL 2.5 line stage preamp that I have used for about 10 years.  It does not contain the optional phono stage circuit but that can be added by the factory.   This is a very sweet sounding preamp with lots of warmth and color.  If you are interested in trying tubes it pairs nicely with solid state power amps.   I have used it with 2 different Bryston models. 
The tubes were recently replaced and have about 200 hours of usage.  They are just barely broken in.  Tube life is in the 3000-4000 hour range in these units.
Cosmetically it is in good shape.  I have rated it a 7 because the remote control is a bit flaky.  It has always been this way.  It works but you can't be too far away from the amp and it needs a pretty direct line of sight to the sensor.  Probably typical of early infra-red sensors.  It never bothered me but I don't want the buyer to be surprised.
Will ship in the original box with owners manual and original calibration sheets from the factory.   Non pet, non smoking home.
The reason for selling is I upgraded my main system and replaced with a new VTL 5.5  which is there top all tube preamp.  This preamp sounds similar for a faction of the cost.
