AKG Acoustics K-701 ; OVER 60% off retail!!!

Up for sale I have a pair of amazing AKG 701 headphones. These are about 6 years old, and are in perfect working order. They are cosmetically perfect except for some slight color fading on the fabric earcup covers. I have very conservatively rated these at 7, due solely to this fading. These headphones are simply amazing, and have earned numerous rightly-deserved accolades from all the audio magazines and e-zines. I have only decided to part with them after recently moving up to a pair of $1200+ planar magnetics (nothing below this price point even came close to the AKGs).

To give you an idea of the sound quality you can expect from these “cans”, here are some excerpts from “What HiFi?” review: In many ways, these AKGs are one of the most impressive pairs of headphones we've come across. They're beautifully built, and feel like they'd survive years of use with ease. The K701s are also extremely comfortable.
