CONRAD JOHNSON PREMIER 12 MONO-BLOCK VACUUM TUBE AMPS.140 WATTS EACH WITH 6550s of Glorious CJ tube sound!!!

Classic CJ Premier hi-quality tube amps. 140 watts of amazing tube power with the ability to drive all but the most difficult speakers. At 17.5” x 7.25” x 15” they are easy to place and come with a purpose built/designed CJ tube cage if your listening environment requires their use.

 Amps were originally wired as the Premier 12-XS series which configures the amps for triode operation with EL34s. This consecutively number pair was sent back to CJ and had the amps wired to ultra-linear to output 140 per side with 6550 tubes. Amps can be converted back to triode if desired. Amps also sound amazing with the new generation of KT120 tubes, providing what some listeners call increased base performance with a tighter, faster base presence and a clear inviting mid-range.

 Amps look very good with the expected evidence of a used audio product that basically sits in one spot for most of its like. A few marks here and there as shown in the pictures. One amp has a light mark on the front face plate the starts at the top of the letter “L” in the word Twelve. 

 Amps were just given a check up by a well known and respected NYC tube specialist and a variety of Parts were replaced. Amps are ready for the next 20yrs of high end performance.

 No tubes are included in the sale price!  I do have a set of tubes that have unknown hours and usage that I will give to the purchaser of the amps if they want them.
