McIntosh MX-117 AM/FM Stereo Tuner-Preamp, Serial # CM 1497

Classic McIntosh MX 117
AM/FM Stereo Tuner-Preamp, the combination of Mac’s 504 Preamp and MR 75 Tuner.  This unit was purchased from Audio Classics in
November 2001.  It has received moderate
use during my ownership and when service was necessary, it was done by Audio
Classics.   This unit was paired with a Mac MC 502 power
amp (the two were commonly used together) which I am also selling in another
listing.  Its electrical condition is
very good.  Cosmetically, the front panel
has various scratches and small nicks due to its age.  The glass has no cracks, scratches or
nicks.  There are a few places where the
back of the glass has separated from the silk screening.  Except for a spot on the top cover, the
chassis shows no signs of oxidation or rust.

The shipping carton is
a Mac box from Audio Classics, but it may not be the original box.  The manual is a copy provided by Audio
