Audience cable products are some of the most critically
acclaimed audiophile cables currently on the market. They are recommended by both Stereophile and
The Absolute Sound – see the recent recommended components issues of these
magazines. This 3-foot, 10-gauge power
cable was purchased new by me from the Cable Company in 2016 terminated with Cardas AC wall plug and 15-amp IEC power
connectors that are plated rhodium over silver over copper. I subsequently sent the cable back to
Audience in 2017 to have the IEC upgraded to their new proprietary 20-amp IEC power
connector to use with an Audio Research preamp that requires the 20-amp IEC. The wall plug remains the Cardas
connector. I also include the Cardas
15-amp IEC with the cable should you wish at some point to have the cable
converted back. The cable is in
virtually new condition, 9/10 rated, and comes in its original packaging- see
photos. I recently upgraded my preamp
once again to one that needs a 15-amp IEC.
Rather than re-terminating the cable, I have moved up to Audience’s SX
series, thus the reason for the sale.
