Audio Note Japan Preamplifier model M7 with Phono in Stereo preamplifier - early model designed by Hiroyasu Kondo, the "Silver Smith" himself. VERY RARE : One of the first hybrid versions. Maybe a hundred made only. Solid-state section is based on field-effect transistor FET’s and diodes - Great MM PHONO stage for vinyl lovers - TUBED Power supply – 6X4*4 tubes for rectification - Internal wiring – Audio Note QSSC cable Input – PHONO, TUNER & AUX Output – direct out, rec out, tape, 2*out put Monitor – Tape, Source Rec Out Level Balance – Left, Right Number of high voltage FET’s 10 / Diodes 16 Phono Input – 2 mV Overload – 300 mV Output – 1 volt. Max. 40 volt. Distortion – less than 0.01% for 1 volt output. Typically 0.003% Signal to noise ratio – better than -120 dB. RIAA Equalisation +- 0.5 dB, 30 Hz – 15 kHz. Power Consumption – 15 watts 220-240V - Comes with: Original Power Cable - Dimensions - Height - 15 cm / Width - 22 cm / Depth - 37 cm. Full working condition, the preamp sounds great. Cosmectic condition is okay, the preamp has a few visible dents - one screw is a bit loose on the front, due to aging box and otherwise only very few normal age marks on the front plate, but usually unnoticeable when operating the gear. It was bought and fully serviced in 2012 (Germany) one pair out of the two output bindings have been carefully replaced (see pictures for details)- third owner - weight : about 8 kgs - I have to let this gem go, did not think i would ever and will surely regret it...
