SAE Main Capacitors 15000uf 80v For A502, A202 and other models

SAE's robust design is why much of that equipment is still used and collected today. But the reality is a piece of audio gear that is 30+ years old will need some maintenance. The most common degradation occurs in the capacitors, as the electrolyte starts to evaporate or leak from constant use. SAE crammed a lot of musicality and power into their amplifiers and that meant using unusual parts to achieve their goal. The main capacitors found in the A502, and others in that family, are a very unusual size. They are short and stout. Without doing major modifications to the chassis or building some capacitor bank out of smaller capacitors it is virtually impossible to find a replacement cap for those attempting to do a restoration. That means most users have either kept their fingers crossed or shelved their beloved equipment once the caps began to fail. -    
I have a small supply of drop-in, SAE ready capacitors to add another 20+ years of joy to your equipment. These caps were manufactured long after SAE disappeared and will outperform the very old caps that are in the SAE gear now. These caps are new "old-stock". They were tucked away in a  warehouse. They were never used or installed. I have installed them in my own SAE gear and they work great. -     
They are rated at 80v, 15000uf. The lugs are polarity and position correct for SAE A502 amplifiers.  They will fit in a A202 amp with a very small mod to a bracket to allow clearance.They are probably the same caps used in other amplifiers in that series as well. Please verify cross compatibility with the A502 if using them in another model before ordering!
I am selling them individually. The photo only shows two pieces to demonstrate the size and position of the pins. The price reflects the condition and rarity of the item.
