Verastarr Dampshield Kit RF Shielding and vibration damping in one !

Up for your tweaking pleasure is another Verastarr Mini Mod Kit including the DampShield product which is a rubber compound bonded to a piece of sturdy copper foil.  DampShield comes with an peel away liner and the rubber polymer has adhesive properties. You may place this inside your components anywhere you want to shield anything from EMI, or if you want to contain it (such as on transformers) and it also damps vibration. Therefore if you place it on the walls of the component or on top of CD transports, or HDD drives it absorbs vibration as well as shields. Also very effective on power cord plugs, just heatshrink or tape over it. It can also work as an active ground plane by soldering a wire to the copper and running it to ground at the chassis. Its uses are too numerous to list. For only $25 including shipping, its a no brainer. Each kit includes 4 pieces of 3 x 3 inch material.  We do not recommend placing this on the underside of the lid as it may fall off if it gets warm. Everything else is safe territory, just remember it is copper and is conductive.
