One owner, Dealer Trade-in for upgrade. This is one of the most lauded ARC pre-amps. Really popular. ARC has described it as being a compact version of their Reference level pre-amp (Ref 1 at the time).Six inputs, including one for a phono stage. 2 Main outputs, as well as Monitor, Processor and Tape outs. All Inputs and Outputs offer both Single Ended and Balanced connections. Check out the many positive reviews. Black face plate. Includes Remote, Manual, original factory double boxing/packing and a third outer shipping box.
Near perfect cosmetics. Operating as intended. No cosmetic issues except for a couple of fleabite dings, one on the left handle on the top and one on the left top edge of the face plate, nearly invisible (see the second picture for both). This issue requires a 8/10 rating via A-gon's system, but this unit is truly near perfect.
Please note: This unit originally was an LS 25 but was returned to the factory for a Mk 2 upgrade, adding new motherboard architecture that incorporates a JFET input stage similar to that used in the VTM200, followed by a cathode-follower / output driver stage using two 6H30 twin triodes (in place of the original four 6922s).. In addition, the original owner sent the unit back to ARC recently for a check up. The factory found things to be as they should and replaced the tubes. The tubes therefore have very low hours. Not sure of exact number, but for sure less than 100 hrs.

This UPS estimate is more consistently accurate than the A-gon estimate. Not sure why the A-gon estimate is sometimes off, but it is.
