Audiophile DAC in excellent condition. Rated conservatively an 8 but probably closer to a 9.
This vintage DAC uses the highly regarded Burr Brown PCM63P-K chips. These retailed for around $2,500 when new back in the 90's. It's an excellent piece of equipment, but I listen to records 95% of the time so it's overkill for me. The DAC is build spectacularly well and weighs in the neighborhood of 20lbs. It also decodes HDCD signals from Tidal or Roon!
Noble Electronics in IA still services these DAC's if anything ever goes wrong. They can also be upgraded if desired.
Item comes with original documentation and will be double boxed in original boxes.
