Resolution Audio VT-960 DAD Player with D92 96kHz D/A Converter

This Resolution Audio VT960 DVD/CD player/D-92 DAC set was originally purchased a few years ago for testing purposes for developing another player. It was played for maybe 100 hours or so and then packed and put back on the shelf, where it was recently discovered when cleaning up a number of other pieces of equipment for sale. I will rate it as a conservative 8/10, as there are a couple small dings/scratches on the chassis, though the faceplates are in excellent shape. It comes with the stock power cord and the stock/custom factory proprietary I2S Bus super-low-jitter digital link, as well as the original remote control. I have test-played it over several days with a variety of CDs and DVD 24/96 audio discs, and the bottom line is that CDs are handled with aplomb and play perfectly. With the 24/96 music discs, it can be slightly finicky on the odd disc occasionally, in that it will not want to play them w/o balking or re-loading. Usually this is not a problem, and generally discs are played normally, but I am saying this for full disclosure. The unit sounds truly excellent, I have to say. Big, easy sound with lots of dynamics and great detail, no grainy sound at all. Bass is killer and mid-band realism is quite fetching sonically. The remote works as it should. Unit will be packed very well to prevent shipping damage. I cannot find the user manual for this player but it is pretty easy to operate. This set can ship anywhere in the world, though buyer will need to use an appropriate conversion transformer for 240V, etc. Also included are ten brand new and sealed Classic Records DADs.
