Up for sale is a rare pair of Yankee Audios last pair of speakers made. This is not the FPR-72 model.  Audiogon made me put a model in.  This is a full range speaker that retailed for $30,000 thats similar to the FPR-72 but bigger. They have a frequency range of 25hz to 20k hz. They are built in mirror imaged pairs. 3ohms over entire frequency range. You don't need a ton of power for them. Custom WBT litz 5 way binding posts. The frame of the speakers are made of solid Koa wood. The speakers themselves weigh 180lbs each. I have owned many pairs of Magnepans (tympani IVA, MG20.1, MG3.6, MG1.7) and the Yankees are 10 steps above the Magnepans in both sound quality, and build quality. Magnepans feel and look like a home project compared to these Yankee speakers. I bought these to use in a second system. I don't really care if I don't sell them. The only reason for the sale is my room is a little too small for them, and they are about 6 inches two wide and stick out in the hallway a little. They actually sound pretty good in my small room(14x16). But the bass opens up quite a bit in my larger room (24x18). Im not willing to give up my main speakers ($100k), but these can compete real close. Dimensions are 78"h x 37"w x 4"d about 15"d if you include feet. Speakers weigh approx 180lbs each, or 300lbs each in their crates. I can pack and ship them no problem with my freight account. Free shipping anywhere in the US. Im not entirely sure why I am selling these other than they are a little big for my second system. I know there is absolutely nothing anywhere near my asking price that will compete with these. I guess I just want to try something else. This pair has very low hours, and, and has zero issues.  Those of you that have concerns about reliability, these speakers look and feel like they are built to last a lifetime, however this is the reason why they are $3500 for a speaker that retailed for $30,000, because its a risk since the Manufacturer is no longer around.  So please dont ask me who can service them.  Any other questions just ask.....I respond pretty quickly

I might be interested in some trades for an amp. Trade up or down is fine
