[PRICE LOWERED]

For those who are not familiar with the iconic Duntech Sovereign 2001, they were the reference speakers used in many recording studios in the 90s.

For your consideration is a pair of Duntech Sovereign 2001 in good condition. It comes with DIY grills (I don't have the original metal frames anymore) but performs best without them. Normal wear on woodwork at the bases. Rated fair because of the missing grills only. There are no scratches on the speakers, apart from wear at the bases as mentioned before.

A big plus are the added high-quality Chris Venhaus' VCap-CuTF as bypass caps in the cross-overs of my Duntech Sovereign 2001s. The cost alone of these caps are over $1,000!

All drivers are original.

If you like first order cross-over designs and phase and time aligned speakers, this is a must to have.

There should be reviews on the web, some at audioreview should be representative of the quality of these indeed awesome sounding speakers.

IMO these speakers are very neutral and balanced. Instruments are precisely located in the holographic soundstage (I used to own planars and electrostatic speakers) and providing wonderful visceral impact.

Most Dunlavy/Duntech (the bigger ones) are used as studio monitors for a good reason.
