Quantum Symphony Pro QRT

No, it's not April Fool's day, I really do have three Quantum Qrt "Pro" units for sale in mint/as new condition with original factory boxes and paperwork. By mint, I mean like new with NO scratches, smudges, fingerprints, ect.

Am I liquidating my entire system, or perhaps I am on my death bed, to even consider parting with these fantastic audio/video enhancing devices? Nope... Here is the real reason. I am retired, and love/need to work on projects. This includes soldering electronics. I have in my possession the schematic for the original Quantum Pro unit. I have already made two "Pro" units, with point to point wiring, and a single Nordost QX4 clone to compare. The Pro units definitely work just as well as the factory units. Win-win for me. Now it is going to be a very good day for you, to be able to purchase the original Quantum Pro units. I know how rare and in demand these units are, for good reason.

At present, Nordost bought the rights to manufacture/sell the Quantum Qrt. They machined a very fancy case, and changed the design a little from the original. (see pics) Obviously the Nordost Qx2 and Qx4 must perform much better than the original "Pro" units, considering the astronomical prices Nordost is charging. Sorry, but the very exact opposite is true. Check this Audiogon thread concerning the "new" Nordost Qrt. Audiophiles in the know have stated that the new units pale in comparison to the original "Quantum Pro" units.

Mighty expensive is the truth. Buy used, say at one half retail, and you still are talking a serious chunk of change for a product that might not be as powerful as the original Quantum Pro.

The faceplate of the three units I have for sale all differ from one another. Because of this, I decided to take a peek inside each unit. You can see that each board is identical to each other, right down to the part # on the chipset. (I checked) So all units perform exactly the same. The faceplate is the difference. When contacting me concerning purchasing, please let me know which faceplate you prefer.
