Hovland Company HP-100 line

Hovland HP-100 tube line stage pre-amp.  A classic design from one of the few companies that did most everything in house and always right at the highest level.  Striking looks with those three big knobs, the dark mirror chrome and the blue lights around the controls (you can just turn ‘em off if you want).  Minimalist but in a big way.  The main comment I get has to do with how amazingly quiet the pre-amp is.  This is definitely a high-value unit (less $$$ for sound in the same league with Cary, VAC, ARC, BAT, etc.), with all the Hovland soundstage magic of course, deep, wide, detailed, and stable.  I used it with SET monoblocks, ProAc & Magico  speakers and had no issues getting my large listening room to crank.  Poke around for reviews and let me know if you hear anything negative!  

Cosmetic Description: This HP100 is in excellent condition (no kids, smokes, pets, incense, etc.), I rate it a conservative 8/10, with very minor & not easily seen dust scratches on the glossy plexiglass top of the case.  I seriously doubt you will find another in better condition.  The metalwork looks a little tarnished in the photos but that's just table reflections.  18.25" W by 5.25" H (including feet) by 17.375" D (including knobs and rear jacks). Weight: 27 lbs. Original double carton, manual, and AC too.  I am not sure how old the tubes are, but I am guessing maybe 1.5 or 2 years old.  Fancy fuses to boot!  If that’s not enough I will include spare tubes (quality depending on vagaries of current tube collection) and if that’s still not enough, I will ALSO include the IsoTek full system enhancer and rejuvenation cd!  I am the first & only owner, have used the preamp in just 2 rooms & I have never shipped it anywhere.
