Outstanding Sound - $390 Bargain Price -Parasound 2100 Classic Preamp

Purchased new from Audio
Advisors, I am the first owner and for the past 4.5 years it been in one
cabinet/rack performing light duty in a nonsmoking no pets house.  This preamp looks and works
perfectly. I’m calling it a 9 only because its not brand new.

If you are thinking that adding a preamp may improve your overall sound, you are correct:  if you are using a DAC like the Nuprime DAC9 or if you are using a player like the Oppo 103 directly into your amp, adding the Parasound 2100 will make a substantial improvement in the sound...bigger soundstage, more authoritative better defined low end.

At $390, nothing sounds better which also makes the 2100 a great starter preamp or second system preamp.

Strengths and Capabilities:  include very big soundstage, deep authoritative low end,
great subwoofer control and smooth, detailed mids and highs.  This preamp has a black background; very quiet. 

The unit has seven inputs
including phono, subwoofer management, home theater bypass, a pretty decent headphone. 

As you can see in the photo, full size remote. Overall, its reasonably quiet, functions perfectly and handles mist of the functions you use all the time.
