Aerial Acoustics Model 7b

The Aerial Model 7B is a high-performance 3-way column

speaker for the discriminating listener. It provides accurate tonal

balance, precise imaging, transparency, and taut bass without

sacrificing high dynamics or power handling.

The Model 713's compact size, narrow width, and extensive

bracing reduce cabinet coloration to mini-monitor levels. Three

2' thick walls, a separate wool-filled midrange chamber, and 4

constrained-layer damping blocks further reduce coloration and

blur. Tight joint construction improves inertness and sonic

consistency. Forward-facing drivers simplify placement in small

rooms, while a foam vent plug allows the user to reduce low

bass or accommodate tight room placement requirements.

The Model 7B continues the design philosophy of other Aerial

speakers. Its twin woofers were developed specially for the 7B.

They employ large vented magnets, long 40 mm diameter coils,

and cast frames. Bass is quick, dynamic, and deep. The critical

midrange is handled by an unshielded version of the highly

acclaimed Model CC3 midrange driver. Midrange is natural and

well resolved. The tweeter is Aerial's exclusive, highly refined

1 O tweeter. It provides detailed, transparent, extended highs

without signature. The biwirable network is built on two glass

epoxy circuit boards using high quality components and wiring.

Veneers are "book-matched" so that the grain patterns are

symmetrical on every side. All cabinets are built in mirror-image

pairs. The finish quality is exceptionally high. An optional floor

stand is available and highly recommended for use especially on

suspended wood floors, or for increased stability.
