Emotiva SA-250 250wpc/400wpc 8/4 Ohms Power Amp

This is the best power amp Emotiva has ever produced in my opinion.  They designed and produced this amp in response to requests for a pro quality amp that would be reliable, cool running, at ease with practically any speaker load, voiced neutral, well constructed, and powerful. 

This SA-250 has a couple of minor imperfections, most noticeably on the left front corner of the faceplate, hence the 7/10 rating. However, it operates perfectly.

This amp is rated at 250wpc into 8 Ohms, 400wpc into 4 Ohms.  Emotiva testing showed that these amps typically ran at 300wpc/500wpc at clipping into 8/4 Ohms.

While I liked the Emotiva XPR line, they run very very hot due to their prominent class A biasing. I still think the SA-250 is better sounding than the XPR series which I found to be too warm sounding.

This amp sold for $1300 factory direct. 

This unit was purchased as a full warranty demo from Home Theater Design in Bradenton, Florida on March 24, 2016. They are
(or were) an authorized Emotiva dealer so the warranty is good through
March 23, 2021. This unit has a touched up scratch on the lower left front
corner. The defect is pretty well hidden because the face is raised. There are
also a handful of minor marks/smudges on the front/face, but are barely
visible from the front because they are small and because the face is raised. 

The amp will ship in its original double box packaging with manual and power cord.
