Thorens TD-125 for sale

This sale is for a Thorens TD 125 with a Magnepan UniTrac 1 tonearm which
was recently rewired by Brit Audio.

The original plinth bottom was replaced with a 1.5" MDF bottom. This
sits on 3 pointed metal isolation feet. The unit has been damped with DynaMat
Extreme on both the spring loaded plinth and the sub chassis.

All electrolytic capacitors were replaced approximately 2 years ago as a
precaution. The center and outer sections of the platter have been matched up
with a dial gauge for minimal vertical motion.

The Magnepan UniTrac includes some of the original accessories and will be
shipped in the original styrofoam container (some assembly will be required).

Included is a dust cover that is cracked / blemished. It fits over the unit
but is not attached; it is mainly for protection while the turntable is not in
use. I am also including a Souther Clever Clamp, a record hold down device
(shown in the pictures).

Price includes an extra blank tonearm mounting board as well as the
original board drilled out for the old style SME tonearm mount.

Needless to say, the turntable is in very good working condition. So why am
I selling this? I have a Thorens TD 126 and a Basis 2500 turntable so something
has to go…
