The Golden Power Cord rounded out the Golden Cross series of cables, which was Cardas top offering before the Reference series. It offers more tonal and image density, with greater refinement, than Cross power, and is more laid back in perspective than Cross. Many audiophiles prefer the unfailing musicality of Cardas' older cables compared to the Reference and Clear series, which are more demanding of setup and system matching. Also telling is that while Cardas replaced the Quadlink (Parsec), Neutral Reference (Clear Light/Cygnus), and Golden Reference (Clear Reflection), they have yet to come out with direct replacements for Cross and Golden Cross.
Selling because I moved to Clear Power. This cable is 4 feet in length. No certificate.
