Awesome Nola speakers, A pair of Viper IIA's, and a pair of Lotus Elites (Viper IIA's before the name change). The great thing about these speakers is that they are like new, never used. They were purchased years ago and never installed. They sat around in their original boxes in a climate controlled basement for years waiting on a home theater room to be built. It never materialized, and that is why these are now available. They were only recently taken out of the boxes to take pictures of and listen to. They sound fabulous. The pair of Elites has a couple small nicks where the speakers must have been damaged slightly in shipping. Thus the $300 lower price than the Viper IIA's. Overall, they look very nice though. The Viper IIA's were $5500 and and Alon Lotus Elites were $4500. This is a pair labeled Nola Lotus Elites, so not sure of the retail price. They must have been built right as Alon was becoming Nola. I believe they are the same speaker as the Viper IIA's. You cannot get these speakers at anywhere close to this cost anymore. Nola speakers have enjoyed tremendous success, so much so that now they are extremely expensive. To get the Alnico midrange drivers that these speakers have, you could purchase the Nola Studio Reference Gold for a cool $19800, or the Metro Reference Gold for a whopping $33000. If you want open baffle like these, but are willing to give up Alnico midrange drivers, you could purchase the KO2's for $14000. If you know anything about Nola, you know what I'm talking about. Awesome speakers, some of the best out there, but expensive as hell. The breakdown in cost for this system is: Viper IIA's: $3000 (retail $5500) Lotus Elites: $2700 (retail $5500) - $300 less but I believe the same crossovers but different woofers. They do say Nola on them, not Alon. I will sell the speakers separately at the listed prices above, or will sell the both pairs for $5000 (Retail $11000) Note: The LCR Center and the Thunderbolt subwoofers have sold. They are no longer available.
