Vintage Art - Restored Kenwood KA-5700 Integrated Amplifier

You'll be the...envy of you audiophile friends. Here's what we've done:

**Green Patina powdercoated case (satin, textured finish)
**ALL electrolytic capacitors were replaced (FC in PS, Cerafine, UFG and UKZ in audio)
**ALL diodes were updated except the germanium ones for the meters
**ALL resistors 1/2W and up were updated with same value metal film
**ALL 1/4W 5% carbon film resistors were updated to 1% tolerance metal film ones
**ALL transistors updated except for outputs and phono stage JFETs
**New lamp and fuses
**Potentiometers and switches received the prerequisite Deoxit treatment
**Main filter caps bypassed with film caps and upped from 6800uF, to 10,000uF

The
last photo shows an imperfection...a small section of the face plate
silkscreen is worn from the volume pot. I have other face plates which
have the silkscreen intact, but the metal is nowhere near the condition
of the installed face plate.

This is one transparent little
Kenwood, with a big sound! If you can find a better sounding 5700, buy
it...but you won't find one.
