Selling for a friend. This Rega RP3 is in excellent condition and working as intended. Age is about 6 yrs.
It comes with stock RB303 arm, an extra shim for under the tone arm (to adjust height depending on cartridge used), the upgraded drive belt along with the stock belt, and the upgraded power supply ($400). This power supply features controls for keeping constant speed of the tt by automatically adjusting speed with variations in house line voltage that occur. In addition, it allows you to switch speeds from 33 to 45 with a flip of the switch rather than having to adjust the drive belt onto the different hubs for the different speeds.
I am told by the owner that, with the upgrades of power supply and belt, this RP3 is essentially equivalent to an RP6.
This unit is being sold WITH NO CARTRIDGE. Nice clear Glass platter with felt pad. Well reviewed. Check the web for details, both of reviews and the Rega site.
